On the 21st day of December, in the year 2012, in a speech delivered by the joint leaders of the United States and Canada LIVE to billions of televisions around the world, it will be announced that secret talks have been underway for years and that effective immediately the U.S.A. and Canada have been merged into the new republic of United North American States.

What you may ask, brings us to this point?

Early in the 21st Century, the Mexican government had lost control of it's criminal element. Corruption ran rampant in the government halls of Mexico. Due to ever increasing violence from Mexican criminals in it's lower states and the ongoing illegal immigration problem, around the middle of 2011, the United States will step up it's border presence by using American combat solders recently returned from Afghanistan and Iraq as border guards.

Feeling threatened by their neighbor to the north, Mexico moves the majority of their military forces to the U.S. border. Many small skirmishes will occur between the two forces, but a semblance of peace is managed.

Meanwhile, the talks between Canada and the United States concerning unification continue.
